My story is slightly crazy - I was in a small fender-bender on my way to work the day my DS was born. My OB wanted me to go to the hospital for observation even though the accident was really minor and we weren't going but 2 miles an hour. I was monitored which showed that I was having contractions but having zero pain and I was never checked so no one knew I was in labor including myself. My OB over the phone told the resident on shift that he wanted me monitored for 24 hours at the hospital bc I was having the sporadic contractions. I finally get to my room around 6pm - got to eat dinner and then a nurse came in to check my vitals and decided to check me since I hadn't been in triage. Well, good thing she did because I was 7 cm dialated and fully effaced. Due to bladder issues for a prior surgery I wasn't to go into labor on my own so I was immediately sent for a c-section - DS was born within 20 minutes.
I honestly had ZERO clue that I was in labor and had zero pain! My OB said he didn't feel that there was any correlation between the accident and my delivery and that it was a "blessing' that I was in the accident because I probably would have delivered DS at home since I had no clue that I was ready to give birth. I was a crazy hysterical mess because I didn't expect to deliver when and how I did. DS was also born exactly 2 years to the day to my horrible surgery that ruined my bladder.

How long did you push? 0- CS
Did your water break first? No
My story is slightly crazy - I was in a small fender-bender on my way to work the day my DS was born.
I went in to labor on my own - one year ago today! Happy Birthday, baby girl!

TTC Journey Over~ Not By Choice
Went into labor 39w6d
First contraction was about 2-3 pm, maybe one an hour after that, didn't start timing until about 8-9pm
First real one was in the parking lot leaving the ob's office after he told me there was nothing going on and I'd see him next week.
18 hrs of real labor (time-able contrax) 9 without epi (0-4cm) and 9 with (4-10cm = 3hrs pushing)
pushed 3.5 hrs, her head was turned funny, once it was straightened she came right out.
No, it broke at about 4cm, 9hrs in
