I had another monitoring appointment yesterday at CD27.
CD19 I had one ruptured follicle which they measured at 12mm. I definitely O'd on CD19 given what they saw, and what my chart is saying.
Yesterday at CD27, I watched the tech measure a 16mm follicle.
This is probably a really stupid question, but if I've already O'd, is it possible for that follicle to rupture as well?
I couldn't ask the tech anything, because I ended up with the u/s tech that I hate because she doesn't talk to you AT ALL, and she doesn't answer questions. She just goes in, does her thing, and leaves.

They did blood draws for estrogen and progesterone both times. I'm seeing my RE on Friday for a results appointment, so I'll be sure to ask him about that. I really hope it's not a cyst. The last u/s tech was certain that she saw a ruptured follicle on CD19, and my chart coincides with that. I wonder if maybe I got the measurements of the other follicle wrong and that the 16mm that I saw yesterday is just the follicle that hasn't left yet.
This cycle is weird. Let's hope it results in a BFP and I won't have to keep analyzing this stuff to death!
Not to alarm you- but the Clomid may be causing you to develop a cyst. I ovulated and all was good- until AF didn't show up... I went in finally about 20dpo- and found a 30mm cyst. Now granted- I was on a HUGE amount of Clomid, but still- it stimulated another follicle and caused me to have a cyst. I don't know if mine ruptured, or what- but 3 weeks later it was gone. Still had to use Provera on my first ever ovulatory cycle- and I was ticked...
Good luck and hopefully if it is a cyst- it doesn't get bigger- and goes away quick!
If I have a cyst, could that potentially show as O on my chart? Or did I still O, but now I have a cyst? Sorry, probably a dumb question but I'm confused. LOL
Not a dumb question at all. I think you probably did ovulate- and the leftover Clomid is still stimulating your ovaries- thus causing a cyst after the fact. At least that is what I understand. Since Clomid stays in your system for so long- it continues to work- even after you stop taking it. In my case- it caused another follicle to grow into a cyst.

Okay. I get it now. So what I should be making sure of at my next appointment is that if this isn't a BFP, I make sure that they do a baseline ultrasound before I take any more Clomid, seeing as my RE hasn't done a baseline since my first cycle.
That's it.... seriously, I go see my RE on Friday, and if I can't see him one-on-one (he usually has a pile of students and other doctors in the room while he's giving me results), then I'm going to scream at him! The last couple of appointments, he hasn't even been in the room, and I'm getting sick of his lax care. I'm really starting to hate him.
Oh boo! I hope you get to see your Dr. too... And DEFINITELY makes sure you get a baseline. I had one u/s to make sure it was gone, and then about 10 days later- my baseline- just to be ABSOLUTELY sure...
Good luck!
