Blood Blister on Nipple?

I have a small pimple that has appeared overnight and it is dark and very painful it looks like blood in it, right on the tip of my nipple. What do I do? Wait it out or go see dr?

Probably is just a blood blister. Make sure you do different holds until it goes away. Work on latch if you can (since that is what is pinching that skin and causing it)...and breast shields can sometimes help things heal if you get desperate (or pumping on that side)

I just had a water blister on my nipple and called the doc.  He said to pump on that side and feed the baby with the bottle.  If it pops in LOs mouth the bacteria in his mouth can cause an infection.
