Do you think they got Ella confused with Emma? Emma was Rachel's daughter's name on "Friends".
ETA: I found the comment about which you speak (it was in the "Elliot Anniston" thread, for those who haven't gotten to it yet):
SHOPPRNCSS:
I know someone named Ella...And all I think about is them with the name...Jennifer Anniston?? LOL that could be said about ANY name, I just like the sound of it.
I think she was responding to the people that said that the name Anniston reminds them of Jennifer Anniston. She was saying that she thought any name will make people think of someone with that name. For instance, she knows someone named Ella, so when she hears the name Ella, all she can think about is that person that she knows, who is named Ella.
I know why you misunderstood it, though. She worded it very awkwardly. There was someone in that thread that commented on her wording as well.
While we are on the subject, naming your daughter the last name of a famous actress has always baffled me. (See also: Monroe) Do people not realize that surnames are better for boys? Just because a woman once carried it as her last name, does NOT make it a girl name!

Eaglefoot, my love for you deepens with every post. I am smiling that you wrote "about which you speak" instead of "that you're talking about." Poor prepositions are often overlooked and mistreated. Most allow them to dangle aimlessly.
Re: Jennifer Anniston trend what?
But someone said Ella reminded them of J.A. too? I am in disbelief over here!
And I also wouldn't make this post if it were daytime.. but it is night, so.. I feel like it's okay.
