Kaiser in So. Cal?

I'm looking for some other moms-to-be that have Kaiser, and what their experience has been?

I delivered at Kaiser West LA but my OB was at Playa Vista. I had a great experience and I love that all their hospitals are 'baby friendly' so their care is targeted towards what's best for baby (rooming in only, no formula or pacifiers given at the hospital, etc). Also, my favorite part was that at the playa vista offices at least they had ultrasound machines in the exam rooms so I got an ultrasound every single visit! I loved seeing my LO so much and knowing she was ok.

I don't know how helpful this will be...but my sister and I were both delivered at the Kaiser in Fontana and my mom loved it.  She recently just got her insurance changed and is now happily driving the hour and a half to Fontana to see her doctors.  She has even seen the dr. who delivered me a few times!  I would love to go to Kaiser as well but the distance makes me nervous...so I am sticking with the hospitals close by.

FWIW, she is a teacher and with all the bs that had been going on with her school (pay cuts, pink slips, etc) she was ready to retire early.  When her district added Kaiser to her insurance options, that was the final push to get her to stay.  They are VERY proactive and I know take excellent care of all aspects of a patients well being.
