Hello all! I have been lurking for a while, and thought it time to introduce myself. I hope to post here often.
I'm a 38 y/o FTM to my daughter, Vivienne, born 5/28/11. I've been trying to update my signature, but TB isn't cooperating. We hope to have at least one more kid before too long. I'm not sure if it's smarter to TTC within the next year (like 6 month from now) or wait a year and hope that my fertility is still okay. We never had a diagnosis, but it took us about 9 months and 3 rounds of Clomid to get our amazing daughter.
So far, we are doing well with new parenthood. Breast feeding is going well after a few stops/starts with supply issues. Viv gained her birth weight plus one ounce by 11 days old. She's sleeping fairly well at night, with a 4 hour stretch followed by a 3 hour one.
Thanks for "listening" and I hope to have more to post again soon.
Re: Intro
Welcome to the party.
Welcome, and congratulations! Vivienne is a great name!
I'm 43, so even though we haven't had any trouble with conception, we know time is an issue since we may still want one more. Even so, we did wait about a year before trying for number two, just to give my body time to really recover.

Welcome! I'm also 38, Maddie (our first) was born 4/29/11 (3 weeks early). I also hope to have another, my plan was to never have an only child, though I think its too soon to think about it yet. Maybe when she turns a year, I can revisit and hopefully mother nature will be on our side. The fear of losing my chance does weigh on my mind.
Glad to hear breastfeeding is going well for you, I have to admit after 4 LC appointments I didn't feel 100% comfortable with BF until week 4- it's a lot harder than it looks but we're going strong now. I wish LO had the sleeping style as your LO at that age because we only started doing 4 hour stretches since Monday (she seem to be an exact 3 hour feeder). Hope to see more postings
Delivered 3 weeks and 2 days early via emergency c/s due to pre-e
