Baby Name Stress!

If baby #3 is a boy he will not have a name. After looking at thousands of names we could only come up with 4 names that we kind of like, but nothing we love. With DD and DS we didn't have anything decided but we had it pretty narrowed down.

We have a girl name. It was easy. I knew what we would name a girl well before we even tried to get pregnant. The only thing that has changed is the middle name. Why do boy names have to be so hard for us? Ugh, I can't wait until I can (hopefully) find out what we're having next month!

Care to share the names?  We are the opposite, we have a boy name (Nolan) and are working on a girl name (I really think it will be stella but it's still up in the air). 

We are team green so we have a lot longer to wait and find out which it will be!

We had a terrible time with boys names too.  I have about 10 girls names that I would love and be happy with but nothing for a boy.  DH made a hard push for Nolan at first and at this point it has grown on me to the point where I can't picture calling him anything else but it isn't for an extreme love of the name, just familiarity.

Thanks! I think I like Travis the most, but the middle name is going to be Thomas and Travis Thomas sounds weird to me.

Boy names have been so hard for us too! It looks like our little guy is going to be a Jr. So, Jason Stephenson R. I think we're going to call him J, or Jay.

Lol, my DH's name is Jason also and he always jokes that we could just name this one Jason Jr. I've never wanted a jumior, but definitely not for our 2nd son. That, to me, will either tell DS1 that he wasn't good enough to have his father's name or tell DS2 that we just couldn't come  up with anything better, which would pretty much be the case!

DH and I agree on boys names more than girls. He likes a whole different style for girls than me. We went through the top 1000 names on the social security list and i  crossed off all the names I would never used. I went back through it and got rid of more, and narrowed it down to 10 girls names. I let him cross off ones he hated and we ended up with 5...from there we slowly got Eva. It was hard! We actually both loved different names and had to give up on them bc neither of us was willing to like the other's name. 

Good luck! I like all the names, but I think Cole Thomas sounds very nice.

I understand, boy names were really tough for us to agree on (mainly because I don't care for many boy names).  Girl names...so easy to come up with a short list I like & we agree on.  It's funny, though, I don't know that we'll have another boy, but I have 3 names now that I really like.  Go figure. ; )
