12 weeks...why so big already?

Hi! I am 12 weeks and 2 days today, and already have a nice sized baby bump going on! Pre- pregnancy I was 94 lbs, now I'm 105 and have a big belly! I look about 4-5 months pregnant, but I'm not that far yet! Is anyone else that big already this early? Should I be concerned? I started showing at 8 weeks and the doctor blew it off like it was nothing. I don't know what to think!

Most likely just bloat.

although its more likely you will show a little earlier if you are that small, chances are its just bloat. Im smaller framed, and at 13 weeks i thought my belly was so big with baby, but its nothing compared to now (26 weeks) Looking back i realize it was definately just bloat!!

At 12 weeks it's really just bloating, your Uterus is not quite above your public bone, or if it is, it's just above and no more. I had a very similar experience, I bloated up right away from like 10 weeks on, and gradually the bloat turned into baby bump, some women report the bloa going away and feeling slimmer again before properly starting to show.... for me that never happened, my bloat turned to a bump without ever going away fully.

I swear when I was like 18 weeks I thought I was huge and couldn't possibly get bigger, haha, that was like 9 weeks ago and I have like doubled in belly size! AND I still have a while to go, so I know I will get bigger yet... scary sometimes, I think how will it ever go back.... but it will!

I am the same size as you but almost three weeks ahead. I had the same thing, about 10-12 weeks I was feeing and looking huge but still couldn't feel my uterus. It was just bloat and went down .. I am almost 15 weeks now and looking almost back to normal and able to button some of my jeans again
