thoughts on Stiles?

It's an Old English boys name (or so I have read) . What are your thoughts?

I normally love old English names and I want to like it, but it just sounds like a made-up version of Niles to me. But I don't hate it!

It's ok, not my fav, but I don't hate it....what would the NN be? Cause Sty, or Lyle I don't like.....

I think of the actress Julia Stiles.  Not every old name should be brought back...

I don't like it. It's just another take on the last names as first name trend I've grown tired of, IMHO. Plus, it reminds me of the actress which I don't like either.

I really like Miles, Niles and Giles are okay, but a big no to Stiles.  It makes me think of turnstiles.

I like it, but that's probably because one of my best friends is named Styles. The name just suits him, and it totally works. I don't think he goes by any nicknames nor has anyone ever tried to make one of his name. Anyways, I like it and think it's a great name as well as unusual and fresh.

It's a surname and I really dislike surnames as first names.

 And I agree with pp: you're kids are freaking adorable!
