bumps on nipples?

Is anyone else getting bumps on their nipples.  They are just raised bumps the same color as my nipple.  But now there is one right on the very tip and it is super sensitive, and I think it has gotten bigger.  Please tell me this is normal : )

Yes, I do and I had asked my OB, she said they are small oil glands that appear during pregnancy to help lubricate the nipples for breastfeeding. They will go away after you would stop breastfeeding.

It's called Montgomery Tubercles. I read, as PP said, are oil glands to lube your nipples for breastfeeding.

They don't necessarily go away .. I got them early on in my first pregnancy and they never went away .. not even after I gave birth. And I didn't breastfeed. But I never knew they were oil glands! Learn something new every day

okay, i've had these for YEARS and never knew what they were. they don't hurt and my doc said not to worry about them, so i didn't, but it's so weird to finally learn what they are! i've never been pregnant before, so i don't know what caused them to show up when they did.

This. I've always had these; since puberty I think. At first I thought they were pimples and tried to squeeze them! lol!  I've always been worried about them but I guess they're normal?
