prepping Gro Via soakers ?

 got the summer pack but added in some of the cotton soaker pads too.  So to prep, the soaker pads need several washes, right?  Can I throw them in with regular laundry?  And the shells just need one wash right - can that be in a diaper load?

I know some don't recommend it, but I boiled the soakers for 10 minutes to speed up the prep process, then washed once with the regular diaper loads before using them. I had no issues at all.
