Success after IF

feeling left behind on this board :(

While I am thrilled that so many of you have DC#2 or are on your way to #2+, I can't help but feel sad that I can't be part of that journey with you guys...does that make any sense?

I just realized how many posts are about pregnancy #2 or more and noticed that I haven't been posting much because I can't reply to a post asking stuff about 2nd pgncy or the likes..

I will always be happy for all the added successes here and will always be your cheerleader...guess I just wish DH and I were in the right place to begin planning for #2, so I can join in all the fun...

just wanted to share my feelings..that's all

  • I think there's probably as many of us feeling like you are as there are people who've had further success.  Probably more.  So I completely get where you're coming from (and have been posting less as well, although not intentionally - just less to say) but know that you definitely aren't alone.

This.  Hugs.  It's hard to be feeling left behind.  I'm also not posting as much, largely due to work, but I'm not sure what I have to add anymore either.  Sigh.

  • I'm sorry you are feeling left behind, I totally understand what you are saying.  I am ttc #2 but I still often feel left behind and worry in a year there will only be a handful of us from 2008 pregnancies that don't have another baby or one on the way.

I hope you'll be able to plan for and get #2 soon!!

  • I was just catching up on today's posts and completely feeling the same way.   I, too, am so very happy for everyone, but, it's, maybe, becoming too hard for me to read.  I don't know.  I'm not going to leave, but, I don't know, maybe I'm just in a bad place right now and need to take a break or something.  Everywhere I go lately all I see are twins.  I'm just really struggling these days......
  • :( Sorry.  DH & I wouldn't mind a surprise pregnancy in a few years, but we're happy with our lives right now, so I know what you mean.
