Does your video monitor screen flicker?

We just got a Summer video monitor a couple weeks ago and in the past day or so I've noticed the screen will flicker.  Anybody else have this issue?

Re: Does your video monitor screen flicker?

  • Mine did not flicker. I have been using it for about 2 months now. It does however have a slight delay transmitting pictures, so whenever LO moves, it looks a little robotic. I have a Summer Infant Best View monitor.

  • Yes, scared the crap out of me. Sometimes it looks like a shadow or something, but I think it must just be the camera adjusting to the darkness of the room.

  • Thats nothing, my sister bought her a book the day she came home from the hospital. It makes a dog bark, cat meow, and a few others when you push the button. A few weeks ago, the fake barking noise in her room and wondered if it was on the floor and the dog stepped on it.  It was on the dresser. She was sleeping so i put it in my room. It barked at about midnight, 3 nights in a row.  Now it just does it spuratically.

Is the battery probably dying, or some sort of short in it? Probably. Does it scare the crap out of me? YES!!! lol
