I'll be taking Annabelle for her first beach trip next week and I'm really looking forward to it. We've never been to Hilton Head before so I'm looking for fun things to do with a baby. Any ideas would be great!!
ETA: I realized she's only 6 months old and there really isnt much for a baby to do at that age, so I guess I mean fun things/places for me to visit that are kid-friendly. I'm assuming I'll be doing a lot of shopping and walking around.
Re: Hilton Head - fun things to do?
Na not really. Its really quiet there - which I love. SC is famous for Happy hours, we usually hit them up since they are early and cheap then head back to the condo to hang out etc. If our condo has a pool we use the monitor and hang out a little after dinner.
There is Harbour Town in Sea Pines...not sure where you are staying but it costs $5 to get in the gate. Its a must see. Youll prob want to park at the entrance and take a trolley this time of year. Parking is a nighmare. There is dining, shopping and the lighthouse etc at the marina. There is a small play ground but for a 6m old there isnt much else you can do.
We love it there and go every year....just take it all in. & most of all enjoy seeing trees on the beach and not high rise hotels. I would also check out this Hilton Head forum on Trip advisor to get more info and read up a little. Have a good time. Im counting down the weeks till we go in Sept. If you get a chance head to Savannah too...only 45 min away. But so worth it! Maybe a bit much this time but remember it when you go back.....bc you will. Believe me

She will still be able to enjoy this. Lots of babies her age were there.
