We received so many outfits for Brooke from Carters - a few of them need exchanging/returning and I want to be sure I take back to the proper place - since most people didn't give any receipts.
I know I must have seen that in other stores because I rarely shop for clothes in Target.
They may also have them at BRU and the Carters store.
It used to be the Just One Year brand. Now they've made it Just One You. It threw me for a loop as well. I think TJ Maxx and a few other places sell it in addition to Target.
OK so in general, if I take the ones that are strictly Carters to a Carters store (we have one just down the road), and take the "Just One You" ones to a Target - I should be good right?
I am having flashbacks to that thread where the chick took clothes back to a store she knew they weren't from. LOL. I am trying to do the right thing, I promise
Kohls also sells the Carters brand. That's normally where I get Carters stuff since the Carters store isn't open yet.
I think you would be safe to return to Target.
Just an FYI, Targets return policy SUCKS ASS. So if you don't have a recipt you can only return 2 things a year. It might be worth it to hang onto it and regift it later?
I also had this problem. If you take the "carters" things back to Carters they can scan tham and tell you if they were from the store. Every place that sells carters clothes has a small differencs in the tags.

I think it's changed.
If you have a registry at Target - print the Gift Purchase Log at the registry kiosk at Target. I'm fairly certain you can use the Log to return baby gifts even if they aren't on the Log.
I think when you return stuff w/o a receipt, you can return about $70 worth a year... the Log ups that amount for baby returns.
Also, I was able to do an exchange once I hit my dollar amount for the year - Target allowed me to swap the item for something the same price or higher within the same Dept. ie. Swapped Aveeno Baby Bodywash for CA Baby body wash, and just paid the difference.
Re: Carters "Just One You" brand
Walmart is Child of Mine by Carters. Target is correct.
You mean Just one Year?

I could have sworn I've seen both there! Maybe Heather is right though, maybe it's BRU.
