WCW is going to have to increase the price of her woolies in a few weeks. It sounds like she's about used up the last of her stash from before the big price hike. I'm bummed, because I can't justify a new soaker or shorties right now and the price increase is going to be tough to swallow down the road.
I think there was a WCW co-op being planned for the fall and my name is on it. Any idea if this will impact the co-op? (I assume it will.) I've totally lost track of who's organizing that or who else is in it.
From WCW's FB page:
My wool supply on hand is getting quite limited. I am guessing I will work through my current supply in the next 2-3 weeks. I do have some here in various progress stages so it depends on how quickly I actually finish any of it! The new supply is due soon, so I don't think there will be a gap BUT that's when the prices will go up. A rough estimate is soakers going up $4, shorties $4-$6 and longies $6-$10 depending on size. I will be offering longies again for fall but on a more limited basis because of the prices. Shorties are probably just about done for summer (I think there might be one more set of Storm and maybe Charcoal in a week or so). The price increases are only the add'l amount it will cost me to make them, not add'l profit to me.
Instock over the next couple weeks will include several skirties, solid and contrasting waist/cuff soakers (this Friday probably), MasterPiece soakers (no appliques), and another week of embroidered soakers- girly Monster Speaks, applique hedgie, applique "chill", "green is the new black", a grasshopper, extinction bites to name a few. Shorties I think there are some charcoal and storm coming soon. Possibly some in green as well. I just can't say for sure what will be when, depends on what mood strikes me to actually finish which ones .
Re: WCW price increase :(
She posted a while ago that this would probably happen, I have bought far more wool since she posted that than I ever should have, but I was using it as justification!
Maybe you can look at used? The soakers that I have get pretty regular use, but are holding up really well so it seems like a good option.
Actually, I can't justify buying more right now because he has a decent woolies stash, plus I have a whole ton of yarn that I'm supposed to be turning into woolies. I should really use this as motivation to get knitting :P
