What classes do you teach or do they have you teaching all subjects to the same group of students all day? I am 2 months (3 classes) away from my MA degree in Technology in Education and am sooo glad I will have the summer to get that done! When was your daughter born and how much time did you take off?Feel free to email me: msteach09@gmail so we can continue the convo!
I will totally email you! And I will reply here as well.
I went to check out your info, and the pics of you and DH are cute! Although it says BF, so I didn't know! But congrats on the wedding and BFP! I'm nervous too, don't think you are alone. I have settled a bit since I have been through a loss, but it is never easy. I hate that I think of a possible loss with anyone's PG. Like I hear people telling the world so early, and I'm like, no wait! But I shouldn't put my fears off on others. And I won't do that to you!
I am totally there for you with any questions you have! Don't feel too embarrassed like it's TMI, you've got to ask those questions sometimes. I called my OB's office for every little question, so even if you think it's insignificant, just ask.
I was up in the air on the pain relief too. My OB told me no woman should have to be in pain when it can be relieved and it doesn't hurt the baby. I will share my birth story with you if you'd like, so you can see how it went. I did the epidural, and loved it! And it didn't even hurt to get it.
I teach most subjects: ELD, reading, lang arts, algebra, PE and soc studies. My coworker and I switch to level math (she teaches Pre Alg and Science instead of Alg and Soc Stud). I am close to finishing my Admin MA and Credential too!
My daughter was born Dec 5, 2009, so I had Christmas break too! I took off our standard 44 days plus the 3 weeks at Christmas. This time I am hoping for all the Feb holidays and Spring Break to extend ML. I will probably go back mid-April to be back for everything leading up to graduation in June. I am a pretty dedicated teacher to my kids, so I felt bad leaving them (but not too bad!).
I'm glad school is almost out for you. Hang in there! My email is meghanf@hotmail.com
