POAS while taking AZO

Has anyone ever POAS while taking AZO and it affected the test result. On the box it says it could interfere with urine test. I took some this morning because I felt like I was getting a UTI and wanting to test tonight but didn't know if it would be a waste of a stick or not.
8 early m/c 1 IUI ended up in m/c Currently doing IVF/ICIS/PGS TESTING ER 2-10-13 (18retrieved,13fertilized, 11embryos, and 6 made it to day 5) FET in March 2013 if any are normal from PGS testing ?

    I just read from a doula that AZO does not contain hormones (more importantly HCG)...so I would think it would not affect it.  GL!  Your chart looks good!

    Thank You! I been slacking on Temping every since I O'd. I got to start getting in the hang of it. I don't have a night stand by my bed b/c it's against the wall on my side so I put it on a jewelry stand infront of my bed and by the time I get up to get ready I realize I didn't temp..

    Are you talking about peeing on a uti stick or a pregnancy test??   I'm thinking it means just UTI urine tests... AZO is the cranberry tablet right? Last year, I felt a UTI coming on over the weekend, drank tons of pure cranberry juice, and when I went in for the urine test on Monday, it tested negative.  My dr said that the cranberry juice can skew the test results, as not a lot of bacteria was left in my bladder, and if it got any worse, come back in to retest, without drinking cranberry juice the day before.

    If your peeing on a pregnancy test, I would do it anyway.

    I'd wait and test in the morning.... but i don't think it'd interefere with the test at all. Good luck!

    It could affect it in that the AZO turns your urine a dark/bright orange color and can mask the pink line if it's there. I've had patients come to the ER after taking it and it's near impossible to read urine preg tests if their urine is orange. We often have to do a blood test to confirm b/c of the inability to read the upreg accurately.
