DH and I are going to NYC this weekend to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. I was hoping to get some great restaurant recs from some of you! Any great places to have breakfast, lunch and/or dinner? We aren't picky eaters but don't like Chinese. I think we'd like to go to at least one fine dining place while we're there but the other times it can be casual or business casual. Thanks for any advice!

Re: NIFR: NYC restaurant recs
CaVa is one of my favorites. It is a Todd English restaurant. We went there before a show and the food/atmosphere were excellent!
After 1 IUI, 3 IVF's with CGH/CCS testing, 10 early miscarriages, and lots of tears and frustration, we are moving on to Domestic Infant Adoption! We are so excited to see what the future holds.
We send all of our friends to Otto. it's mario batali, but it's casual (well nyc casual). It has fancy pizza, cheeses, pastas, and lots to share. Everyone loves it.
Any specific hoods u want to be in?
For fine dining, do u mean "really fine" like 300$ a head...or just a nice/dressy meal out? If u mean the latter....I suggest Blue Water Grill. It's seafood, american fare, classic new york. Sex and the city used to film there a lot. DH and i went on our first date there
And we also take our parents there...so it's very nice.
Five Points has my fave brunch! It's awesome, but DEF make reservations! U still need them for brunch.
I'd call and make ur reservations ASAP. Have the BEST time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Casualish, I love JANE in the West Village. They have an amazing toasted ricotta gnocchi that I dream about (it was actually on "Best Thing I Ever Ate") It's also a really fun area to walk around in.
Fancy: Daniel. It is by far my favorite restaurant in the city if you can get in. Get the braised short ribs, trust me
If you can't get in there, I also love Balthazar. The food is consistently excellent and there are always celebrities there, which is neat if you aren't in the city all the time. And that's another area that's fun to walk around.
