We just got back from my LO's appointment today and her Dr was extremely impressed and pleased to see her in a cd. It was only a pf and cover, but still she enjoyed checking it out and even asked if she could try putting one on her.

Yay!  DD had her 4 month check last week and her Dr was impressed over the BG she was wearing.  He kept asking where I got it and how did I like it, and he was bummed we had to get them all online.

This makes me completely jealous of your LO's Dr.'s!  DS Dr. just tells me that he's not worth it and it completely pisses me off. He says that about me making his baby food too..."Oh he's not worth it just wait until he can talk back" and blah blah blah. We are looking into other Dr.s

Our NP the other day who was PG, asked me what size the BG was that LO was in!  So cute, then I had to show her my Little Joey in the diaper bag and a fitted I had in there too!  Hope I didn't confuse her more!!

That's fun! I love finding people who don't look at me like I have 3 heads when I say I CD. It's even better when it's a Dr. One of the pedis in our office saw our xs BG OTB a while ago and said "OMG I've never seen a BG that tiny!" and was thrilled we were CDing. Then last week a different Dr told me to continue using cloth and went into a little rant about how much he hates sposies and what a waste of money they are! I was not expeting that at all. I was planning on having to defend my CDs because we were there for diaper rash.

Same here! Her Dr was very interested in finding out where one could go about buying them, or if I had gotten them through a diaper service (luckily we have a cd store close by so there's no need to exclusively having to purchase online).

She asked if there were different types, about sizing, covers.. and most importantly if they were helping clear up and keep away her rash (she had had a horrible reaction to disposables to the point that her skin had become raw and almost bled) - to which I very happily responded yes

That's horrible!     It shouldn't be up to him what your parenting choices are and for what reasons you chose them. My LO's Dr actually recommended that I switch her to cloth. I guess it came as a surprise to her that I actually followed through when she saw them today  lol   I was even able to show her some pictures of different types of cute (but very useful, of course) dipes such as TT, DD, Bebe Britches, GM, etc. She loved them all!

Now I really want to score one so I can go show it off in person!      - You should move out here and come visit my LO's Dr. She's super sweet, extremely patient at all times, very open to accepting your decisions and opinions, and an incredible overall pediatrician. We've been going to her for the past 5 years (almost, in Nov it will be 5 yrs) and absolutely don't plan on changing any time soon.

Lol  I doubt it. I'm pretty sure you only made her even more curious. Which then made her go straight home after work to look into them. Which will then begin the cd craze and obsession that we have all come to know, love, appreciate, despise (only for the cuteness and inability to keep from buying more) and love all over again.

I'm thinking she's more than likely seen her share of cloth back since she's Ethiopian and has shared with us about baby wearing and other such things in her country. I'm just not sure if she's seen all of the new "modern" stuff that has come out, which amazed her upon seeing pictures. While she hasn't mentioned a love or hate for disposables, which I assume is due to her "what works best for you and your family" attitude, she was very much pleased to see my LO in cloth.

I love her for her openness and acceptance of all that might seem out of the ordinary for others. And the fact that every single thing she has prescribed my kids has always worked for them. Which is more than I can say for the other Dr working alongside her.
