Today is my last day with E

I go back to work tomorrow. E is going to have an absentee mommy. I was really excited about going back to work. I love the job and the people but now that its really here I'm so sad. I'm going to miss her so much!

And on top of feeling like poo because I'm going back to work I turned 30 today. I'm freaking 30. Ugh.

    I hope you don't really think that working mom=absentee mom. Since I know you tried hard to find a job I am pretty sure you don't mean it that way but I know a lot of people who would be very offended by that statement.

    I think she just means going back to work makes you feel like an absentee mom, it's mommy guilt talking. I go back soon and feel the same way, like going back to work makes me horrible, even though I love my job and some time away from home will make me appreciate my family even more.

    No. Of course I don't. It's just the way I'm feeling. I think I would go crazy if I didn't work at all. I've hated not working but its just so hard to leave her as well. I'm just feeling sorry for myself.

    Happy Birthday!! 30 was a great year!

    I am sorry you are feeling bad for going back to work. I don't go back till September and I am already dreading it. But you know in your heart that you will be a better mom because of it!

    Happy birthday and good luck at work! I turned 30 a few weeks ago, seems easier now that I am 30 but a mommy! I feel same way about work... Dreading leaving Ainsley but happy to be working and providing for her.
