If he needs to (like if I'm gone) he will do what he has to. Otherwise it's usually my job. I think DH has changed less than 10 diapers since she's been born.
I SAH though and in his defense she usually doesn't need to be changed when he's home.
I don't understand. Is he only home an hour at a time?
You change your baby's diaper every hour?
What I don't understand is how he could be home and the baby not need a change. Unless he is only home for an hour or two at a time.
Who IS a fan of feces? That's a stupid comment if I've ever heard one.
My DH doesn't like changing diapers (again, who does??). He usually changes the first diaper of the day when he gets home from work and any diapers if I am out. That's about it. If we're both home, I'm the one changing them.

Honestly not usually unless he is alone with him and needs to. We came up with a "deal" long before DS was born. I change all the diapers and he does all the dishes! It works for us, because I hate putting away the dishes when they are done in the dishwasher. But of course if a diaper needs to be changed and I can't or don't want to then he does it just fine.

same here!!
He helped make this baby and hes sure as he!! going to help change diapers....we've never had this discussion, I assumed it was a given?!?
Oh...and *gasp* my DH cleans the poop from the tub if DS decides to poop in there..does he get bonus points? Nope, thats part of being a daddy..the good the bad and the down right ugly!!
Truthfully i usually end up changing more than he does because I'm around more often when it needs to be done, but he does change them when he sees it needs to be done.

He's home 2.5 hours of awake time in the morning, 1 hour at night.

With DD, it was usually split 50/50 when we were both home. With DS, I change most of them and he watches DD while I do it. It's by choice, and he'll change it if I ask him to. On weekends we trade off poops.
My husband changes anything and everything. He probably does it more than I do. Well maybe not at the moment b/c I'm off all summer with DS since I am a teacher, but normally yes. He is just as much my son as he is my husbands.
PPD/PPA Mom...it has been super hard, but I'm making it! Slow steps... Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1). Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
My hubby will only change pee diapers but won't change poopy diapers. he says he is not a fan of feces. What will yours change?
Whenever Noah poops I call base and therefore DH has dibs! I hate changing poopy diapers...but most times I do my fair share and he does his fair share

DH and I handle poopie diapers as a team (we both work full time and DS mostly poops in the middle of the day) since DS is very squirmy. There is nothing worse than opening up a diaper to find a huge mess and then DS starts trying to crawl across the room!
Whenever there is poop, one of us yells "we got poop" and the other one comes running to help out.
Yes, yes, yes! Anthony will not lay still for diaper changes anymore. This should make for an interesting summer home with him. I have to wrap my legs around him to keep him down when doing it solo.
I don't think any of us are really FOND of changing any diapers but we do. My husband changes poopy, pee, barf clothes, bathes her, dresses her, brushes her hair. The only thing he won't do is the finger nails. It terrifies him.

Weekends too?
This exactly....if he refused to do anything regarding his child, I would've got rid of him a long time ago.
This!
DH pulls his shirt up over his nose and mouth and 'eww's' the whole time - but he does it!

Yes, he changes diapers.
My SIL and BIL have 3 kids, and BIL has changed ONE diaper. Ever. It made him gag. I'm sorry, that's just unacceptable.
