We went through about 4 carriers before we got the Ergo and it is by far the best! I still carry Lucy around on my back and she is 26 lbs. Super comfy, doesn't kill my back or shoulders. I am thinking though that I may get a Moby for the next baby for when he/she is smaller.

4. How do you keep up with the swelling in your legs and feet? keep them up as much as possible, dont wear socks/shoes when not needed
5. Would any ladies be interested in getting together for a little outing? Possibly hard with 2 other kiddos though

1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? We are actually counting this as Cycle 1(last month we didn't really try). 2WW - I hate this part.
2. What are you looking forward to this week? I'm looking forward to, and a part of me is dreading this week. I have two Interior Design awards dinners and DH's college graduation. I'm beyond excited for DH's graduation ceremony. I'm also looking forward to the awards dinners (especially if we win
) but all 3 events are happening 3 days in a row.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow. Just getting more and more uncomfortable in my clothes.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I'm supposed to go to the RE next week but the bills from there are piling up and I'm thinking about skipping it and just going to my new mid wife instead. Down side is we won't see the HB...
3. What are you looking forward to this week? We leave on the red eye tomorrow to fly to the east coast and meet up with DH's family. They've all been there since Saturday. I'm both excited but also dreading the trip.
4. How do you keep up with the swelling in your legs and feet? I feel like a balloon towards the end of the day. I drink about 4-6 water bottles a day. Up your protein and electrolytes. There is a good water addition called Nuun, you can get it at vitamin stores, running stores, or Jamba Juice. Try a smoothie at home with 1 scoop of protein powder.
5. Would any ladies be interested in getting together for a little outing? Maybe a 1 hour visit at a coffee shop? Might be nice to put faces to posts. I'm always up for a GTG but I've got a preschooler at home so it can be hard to find time.
6. If you have experience with baby carriers, which one/style do you prefer? Ergo, etc.? I prefer the moby and the Ergo or Becco.
7. What aspect of labor are you dreading most? I haven't gotten my head there yet. I do hope this delivery is a bit different than the last delivery. And secretly I'd love to have a February baby, but that means this kid would have to be over a week late.
8. What's one thing you'll miss about being pregnant? I'm not pregnant enough yet to be excited about being pregnant (other than the baby)

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 37 weeks on Wednesday - now considered "full term" eek. Just biggger and get tired more, my feet hurt when I stand too long and I'm just patiently waiting out the last 3 weeks (I do NOT want to be early - just to piss off my MIL and SIL who have "decided" that I will be early)
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I'm doing weeklys now - every Wednesday. Just another internal (I was 1cm and no effacement last week - I didn't dilate before labor at ALL with my first two so i'm kind of excited)
3. What are you looking forward to this week? I need to go pick up the co-sleeper I'm borrowing from a friend so that I officially feel "ready" for this baby.
4. How do you keep up with the swelling in your legs and feet? I feel like a balloon towards the end of the day. I drink about 4-6 water bottles a day. More water keeps my swelling down - between filling my water bottle and waddling to the bathroom, I feel like I'm hardly at my desk!!
5. Would any ladies be interested in getting together for a little outing? Maybe a 1 hour visit at a coffee shop? Might be nice to put faces to posts. Depending on timing, I would love to (I have the world's busiest schedule, no joke)
6. If you have experience with baby carriers, which one/style do you prefer? Ergo, etc.? I have a moby that I'm excited to try out - MIL bought us a different carrier too but I can't remember what kind (it looks Bjorn-ish...)
7. What aspect of labor are you dreading most? Focusing on my own labor while trying not to worry about how DH is doing. And I want to make sure nobody knows we are at the hospital or I will worry about everyone in the waiting room (my mom and my MIL do not get along)
8. What's one thing you'll miss about being pregnant? The kicking, the one on one time with LO as I talk to him and push him back when he kicks me. After he's born, I'll have to share him! which...is really fine but I really love the connection we have right now and just knowing that he depends 100% on me right now.

Pregnant Questions
1. What week are you in? Week 38! Any new aches or pains? Thankfully no
2. When is your next appointment? Had one today, go again next Monday Will anything special happen at that appointment? Had my first internal today, I'm 1.5cm dilated and cervix is very soft. Midwife said her guess is next week. We'll see!
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Bunco Wednesday, dinner with friends Friday
4. How do you keep up with the swelling in your legs and feet? I agree with the advice to put them up as much as possible. You can also try coconut water.
5. Would any ladies be interested in getting together for a little outing? If the time works for me
6. If you have experience with baby carriers, which one/style do you prefer? Last time we used the Moby a bit, then a Hotsling, then the Ergo. The Ergo was the most comfortable but not good for newborns. This time I've added a ring sling and a mei tai to the rotation, so hopefully one of those will work well for the early days.
7. What aspect of labor are you dreading most? Probably pushing, that was some hard work. I hope it's a lot shorter this time!
8. What's one thing you'll miss about being pregnant? Feeling baby movements

1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW?
We are almost to the 2 year mark. I'm waiting to O, but I've decided to stop charting, etc because it just stresses me out and it clearly isn't working for us anyway. We'll just do the deed when we feel like it, and not worry about timing it right. IVF has been pushed back to August, so we'll keep hoping for our miracle BFP while we wait.
2. What are you looking forward to this week?
Nothing too exciting going on. I have to go back to work tomorrow after almost two weeks off. I'm not looking forward to that.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 21 and still having no fun with my round ligament pain

3. What are you looking forward to this week? I am excited for the weekend. It's Father's Day and even though I don't get to be with my dad, I'm excited to celebrate him :-)

?ohyeahdollface - I'm not a huge help.. Keep your feet up at the end of the day. Talk to your OB too and see if he/she has any advice.

I moved to the Bothell/Mill Creek area last June with my fiance of a year and half. After deciding that we were both very much ready to meet our first little one and that for us a family could come before a wedding, we began TTC. After our BFP and then a miscarriage last July, we let the topic go and began planning a Halloween wedding for 2011. Crazy enough and much to our surprise, we got our second BFP that December. Abigail Rose is due August 8th!

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 32, with nothing new.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? This Friday, nothing special. (Gosh. I promise I?m not as boring as my answers make me look!)
3. What are you looking forward to this week? I always enjoy the extra time I get with my fiance on doctor visit days. And getting to call my dad ?Grandpa? all day Sunday will be the cherry on top of my week

7. What aspect of labor are you dreading most? ?LauraLynnC Honestly?the catheter! Silly. Ridiculous. I know. But when it comes down to it, I know a tiny catheter will be the least of my worries.

What's one thing you'll miss about being pregnant? ?keri013 After seeing how small our neighbor?s baby still is at 6 months, how tiny and vulnerable he still looks, I know I?m going to miss the safety that I feel she has in my belly. I sometimes wonder how the heck I?m qualified to take care of such a precious, delicate thing.

Pregnant Questions

19th week. Nothing too new -- feeling pretty good!
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?
Thursday for a follow-up. Monday at my ultrasound my blood pressure was high 160/78 and they sent me for labs. I've never been over 130... so I'm hoping it was excitement or something. Doc (who I had never met) tried to give me a prescription but I followed up with my midwife at 330 pm with a 124/78 blood pressure and so we are awaiting the results from the labs on Thursday before jumping in to prescription meds. Now I am taking BP 3x a day... and it's been under 124 since 330pm yesterday.
3. What are you looking forward to this week?
Please Please Please wish me luck and a normal BP / labs for Thursday.

I only had this one day... so I am trying to figure that out too!
I was recommended cold foot bath, feet up when possible. I also heard massage can help.
