JP has been doing pretty well taking all of his feedings by bottle over the last couple days so the docs and nurses have prepped us for him making big strides. Apparently, they started last night!
JP was moved to an open crib at midnight! The nurse this morning says he has been doing so well with his temps and it hasn't affected his feeding at all. Based on that, she is going to remove his feeding tube today also. He's 35 weeks today so it's definitely getting closer to coming home - but holy moly!
He'll be like a real baby now - not a robo-baby anymore I'm anxious to see his face totally bare - WOW! I know what he looks like and all, but I think it may be weird without anything on his face?
I am at work (and bumping, I know it's bad) but leaving soon for a doc appt... then straight to the NICU to see my boy! Woo hoo for one step closer to coming home!
