Sophie's head and weight are 50%- so average (although you wouldn't think it if you saw her thunder thighs :-). But her height is 90%. Thank goodness we upgraded to the Keyfit 30 this time b/c she is less than 2 inches from outgrowing the old Graco we had for Gavin. She is sitting but not well enough that I would feel comfortable putting her in a highchair in a restaurant. So I'm so glad she still fits in that infant seat. Yes, it is heavier to lug around so I usually just take her out of it and leave it in the car like a regular carseat. But when we do need it, it is sooooo convenient. Oh and the snap n go is also a lifesaver. So glad we went this route this time. If you are about to register, trust me go with the bigger one. I went with the smaller/lighter one with Gavin and regretted it big time.

Dang. I mean, at least Gavin was sitting at 4 mos but again, I wouldn't have put him in a highchair at that point. What did you guys do when you went out to eat or to the grocery store? With Sophie, she's not a fan of the carseat so I won't be as crushed when she outgrows it the way I was with Gavin. But even DH is dreading it. We jsut know how much harder our lives will be when that happens.
