New moms group

Just wanted to post this b/c I'd want to know if I didn't already!

The hospital where I had my son offers a new mom support group.  It is basically just a bunch of mamas hanging out with their babies and talking.  There is a lactation consultant there and a nurse to answer questions.  A baby scale is there too and I've liked being able to weigh my son between Dr visits.  You didn't need to have your baby at this hospital to be welcome.  I've been going for the past few weeks and it has been great.  The group isn't meeting this week (6/17), but normally meets on Fridays from 11-1 in room 309 of the Manor building next to St. Joseph Hospital.

Thanks for sharing! I just found out about a New Moms group that meets at Family Grounds Cafe in Northcenter: https://www.kicksprout.com/events

It was my first visit to Family Grounds, they have coffee/snacks as well as an indoor playroom and events for kids.
