I said SS because I definitely did when I was little. I actually remember my dad pulling me aside and telling me not to (because I guess he saw the pee?)

I did as a kid and a teenager. I haven't in a long time though. I always pee in the lake when we go swimming there. Ha ha!

Pools are a definite no. As a previous member of the swim team I probably would have gotten beat up.

Lakes, streams, rivers etc for sure. I'm definitely not the only thing peeing in those.

ILY.   I don't really swim in pools too often but if I had to go- its better than tracking water through a house right?!

We go out on the lake and of course you pee in the lake, you get down on your knees to pee when you are at the sand bar and you usually call out the number of pee that you are on.  So when we are standing in a circle talking and you randomly hear someone say "3" and drop to their knees- you know they have pee'd two other times already! Silly huh?

Haha I did the same with my lil brother in the bath tub. I feel so bad looking back.

I'd rather swim in a properly treated pool someone peed in than a lake or stream.  I've worked for various pools for the past 15 years and as long as the pH and chlorine are at good levels, the pee is neutralized pretty quickly.

This poll grosses me out. I mean, I pee in the pool sometimes but I never thought that many other people did too. I don't mind swimming around in my  own pee, but I don't want to swim around in all yours too.

I don't pee in pools. Natural bodies of water are another story, but only if there isn't a bathroom nearby. I would definitely rather find a restroom than pee in my bathing suite.

Anyone ever see the South Park about the pee content of water parks? Super funny, but seriously gross...

I must be naive because I never dreamed adults peed in pools. I had to go so bad last summer while swimming in the ocean and I had the hardest time peeing in the ocean. I couldn't even imagine going in a pool especially a public pool!! Now this is all I'm going to think about when I go swimming...

Holy shiit, are you people for real? It has never ever occurred to me to pee in a pool.

A lake is a different story. It's already a fish toilet.

I can't bring myself to pee in a pool.  I also don't pee in lakes, though I know a lot of people who do.

Pools???  As an ADULT???  No way.

I avoid the swim-up-bars at resorts for this reason alone.  I had no idea it was so prevalent sans swim-up-bar...

My coach wouldn't let us get out to pee. He made us do it in the pool. It messed up our workouts, so he said.
