What is pinterest?

I've seen a few posts about it on here, but I've never heard of it anywhere else. 

Anyone care to fill me in? What the heck is it?

    think of it as a virtual pinboard to stick all of your favorite pictures, quotes, recipes, etc.

    Say you come across a living room somewhere and you want to use it as inspiration for later on.  Just click the handy dandy pin-it tool that installs onyour Favorites bar and file away.

    I have some invites, if you PM me your email address.  You can follow people, find people by FB.

    That's what I posted about earlier.  I didn't have many FB firneds using it, so I was looking for people to follow on here.
