Britax Marathon and then what.....

DS is in the marathon now and we hope to one day give it to DD and move DS into another seat. He is small and no where near ready for a booster, so another 5 pt.

Any recommendation??

If you like Britax seats, I'd go with the Britax Frontier 85. The Graco Nautilus is another good choice but, in my experience, the Frontier receives fewer complaints over all.

We moved DD to a Britax Frontier 85 when she turned 3.  It is a great carseat and we have no complaints.  If you shop for on-line sales you can get it for a good price.

The other options I see recommended here are the Graco Nautilus (as above) and also the Evenflo Maestro.

I'm probably going to get the Evenflo Maestro for the boys. I have to buy three, so the Britax seats are definitely out of the question. :P

DS1 is in a Marathon (and is almost 4).  He still has a little while to outgrow it.   Because we bought it and it was manufactored in 2006, it expires in 2012 and wouldn't have lasted for DS2, so our answer was to just buy a new Marathon.  DS2, our youngest child, got the new Marathon 70.   By the time our carseat expires for DS1, he will be ready for a booster.

we did the above. No complaints, I even got the same pattern so they match. The recs are what I read about, but suck with the brand we knew and like.
