The husband and I are having a hard time agreeing on a name. I have a favorite but I am not sure I am going to win him over on it, nor do I know if I want to "win" him on it, I would rather he love the name as much as me. So currently we are considering the following names, please share your opinions. Older sibling is Calvin Michael and our last names starts with a P and is 3 syllables. We would like to use the middle name Elizabeth but will not depending on what first name we choose since it doesn't go well with all the choices. So really, MN's are still completely up in the air, as just deciding on a first name is our priority currently.
Claire
Clara
Stella
Gwyneth (NN: Gwen)
Elena (NN: Ella or Ellie)
Ella or Ellie as a stand alone first name
Paige
Re: Girl name opinion...
I love Claire! It was our daughter's name for a while in the beginning, but our last name is one syllable so we decided against it. It's beautiful and if you have a long last name, it's perfect!
I like all of the names except Paige (I like Paige, but think it sounds better as a mn.)
Claire
Elena
Stella
Ella/Ellie
Clara
Gwyneth

I am having a bit of hard time making the NN connection with Elena also. DH really likes either Ella or Ellie as a first name but I feel like they would need a more formal first name and he doesn't like Eleanor or Ellen. I am not sure those NN's would actually stick with Elena.
I love the way Paige Elizabeth flows, very pretty.
I find Claire to be boring. Clara is cute, Stella is nms. Gwyneth is ok.
I find any of the El names to be overdone and boring.

I like Stella Elizabeth best!
I like Ella as a stand alone name as well. Ella Paige is nice!
