Today was my first day back at work, I only worked 3 hours today but I go back for 6 hours on tuesday As much as I didn't want to go I went back with a positive attitude, and it was worth it. I came home with more money than I have had in my wallet in weeks so I went out and got some groceries. It feels lovely to have food in the fridge again. Woot! Our regulars all asked for pictures of the baby and couldn't believe I was back already-I think they felt bad and tipped more, I won't lie, it was nice. The only thing that was bad was I thought my boobs were going to explode! I will definitely be taking my pump with me on tuesday or any other shift for that matter no matter how short!
My FI watched our LO while I was at work and sent me pictures of him and it was like torture.
We got the disc with his first pictures on it today, I am so excited!!!

Yesterday we wanted to go to the zoo but just as we were getting ready it started to rain boo.

Tomorrow we go to a bridal shower, hopefully he cooperates/sleeps the whole time haha.

"ma i want to go to the zoo but i can't see the aminalz. my eyeballs won't let me see that far!!!"

 

Oh and does anyone else have a crazy dog....

 

He is a freaking 80lb pitbull. In the vibrating chair. I would of killed him if he broke it. LO  LOVES this chair.

I seriously LMFAO when I saw the dog on the bouncy seat! DH came over to see what I was laughing so hard at and laughed too! 

 

Yay on going back to work. I cannot wait to go back, I am a basket case at the house!

Funny thing is, I have 3 dogs, and 2 of them have now thought the seat was their new sleeping spot. The biggest one better not try it or it will break! (He's close to 100lbs.) 

I laughed my ass off the first time I saw one of them in it and then I realized how filthy they are from playing outside all day and had to wash the seat haha.

Our dachshund and our cat have both tried to sleep in DD's bouncer. Our pit isn't quite that smart... lol.

And I can't wait to take LO to the zoo!! We're waiting until the fall when it's a bit cooler - there's not a lot of shady places at our zoo.
I'm glad your first day back at work went well! I hope I'm able to go back with a positive attitude as well - but I'm staying away as long as possible!

I love our zoo but they've had to evacuate all the animals due to the flood. Hopefully they'll be back before winter.

Glad your first day back went so well. It helps so much after the stress and uncertainty. I also went back part-time after 3 weeks and thank goodness it's been pretty painless.
