Venting!

I am 36 weeks with g/g twins. My perinatal doctor told me on Friday that the girls were appprox. 6.5lbs each. I was shocked. I obviously know this is a good thing but I am over being pregnant with twins. Our scheduled c-section is June 29th and I think I may lose it by then!

 

When did everyone deliver?

My last u/s was at 35w6d, both babies were estimated to be 6lbs then. I delivered at 37w exactly. DD was 6.2 and DS was 5.4.

I delivered at 38w 2d via scheduled C section. baby A was 6.5 and B was 6.12

The ultrasound weights can be off a pound in either direction, my last u/s prior to delivery was a month earlier, although I'd like to have heard their estimated weights right before delivery!

Last Ultrasound was 36 weeks A was 6lbs 10oz and B 5lbs.

Delivered scheduled csection 37 weeks 4 days, A 6lbs 11oz and B 5lbs.

My guys always looked heavier on u/s than they turned out to be. I had a scheduled C-section at 37w3d. Baby A - 5 lbs 10 oz and Baby B - 6 lbs 2 oz.

I had them at 38w 3d. At my last ultrasound only 2 days before I had them they were supposed to both be 6 lbs 8 oz. Baby A - 6 lbs 3 oz and Baby B - 4 lbs 13 oz. They were way off, so I'm glad that I went as long as I did otherwise my Baby B would have been even smaller.

I feel like it's hard to keep going, and I'm only 33w4d.  I'm really hoping to make it to 36w...after that I'll be over it!  I'm scheduled for my c-sec at 37w6d...which feels like an eternity from now.

I actually did have a growth ultrasound the day before I delivered.  They estimated the twins at 5.15 and 6.1.  They were born at 37w4d, weighing 5.1 and 5.6, so the estimates were off by nearly a pound.
