We're also having b/g twins. We ended up getting two non-matching sets of bedding that were made by the same company. So even though they don't match, it still seems like they "go" together. The size of the designs is similar, the brightness of the colors is similar...it's hard to explain! But that ended up working for us.
mine matches, but it's not like there are any rules about bedding, LOL. You can do whatever you want, no one will judge you. If you want him to have sports, great...the little girl can have princess stuff.
Do you want a coordinating bedroom? There are quite a few places where you can buy the same bedding, but in pink or blue. restoration hardware has some nice stuff, you can go to their website.
My cribs aren't even the same color. My boy has dark brown and the girl has white. I just kind of did whatever...since I'm not on a designing show. Plus, we're moving within 2 years, so I just wanted to keep the room neutral looking...so I won't have to repaint it when we want to sell.
We went with a fairly gender neutral monkey theme for now, and they will get separate bedding/themes when they move out of their cribs (now toddler beds), and/or into their own rooms. But really, do whatever you want, there are no rules about this.
we're having 2 boys so we bought matching bedding but its also kinda gender nuetral. We got the bunny meadow set, no bumper. I lovei t, its super soft and its all organic. I'd say do what you want, there are no rules. If we had b/g twins I would get something girl for her and more boyish for him or if you wanted to match just go nuetral and when they are older be more gender specific.
