Hi I'm Jessica, I'm due to have my LO on July 25th. I wanted to see if anyone else is delivering/ or has already delivered there, and what they're opinion is of the hospital.
originally I was trying to have LO at a birthing center in San Diego, mishaps with insurance yada yada yada... and now I am stuck giving birth at a hospital. Trying to opt for a 100% natural birth, but wondering of how strict the hospital's protocol is.
If you're delivering around the same time as me, heck, we might just have rooms right next to each other!
Re: Anyone delivering at Rancho Springs Hospital?
I gave birth there back in September before the new maternity ward was open. The nurses were absolutely wonderful. The LC that I saw the morning after DS was born was great as well. If we decide to have a 2nd LO I will definitely be delivering there again.
When DS was about 3 weeks old I met with an LC at the newborn care clinic at Wildomar and I had a really great experience there, too.
I took a couple classes at RSMC that were helpful: Newborn care, Breastfeeding, and Childbirth, and also attended their quarterly CHP carseat installation workshop.
GL!
I delivered there in June 2009 and February 2011. But both times was in the older section of the hospital. (the new area is supposed to be really nice)
I love the nurses. First birth was vaginal with epidural etc. 2nd birth was vaginal with no drugs. Second birth was a way better experience.
It is great hospital and the nurses were very good. Delivery nurses are the best. The post delivery nurses are very good -but they are more 'all business.'
