I read somewhere that you need to make sure to get a mattress with at least 150 coils. I wouldn't buy this one but thats me.

I don't know about that specific mattress, but when we bought ours (3.5 years ago) the general rule was the more coils, the better.

It's a well-reviewed, popular mattress that is lightweight (easier to change sheets) and fits our crib well. (make sure you check to see what size mattress would fit your crib, they do vary and its important that it has a snug fit). The price is also not bad.

Im a FTM, so it hasn't been used yet, but I spent quite a bit of of time researching and I am happy with this choice.

Uh oh... that's the one I registered for, and apparently it's not good? haha I asked someone who worked there to recommend one to me and they told me it was popular, but I may look into it and do more research now!

We got the same one... rated well in Baby Bargains and it fits very nicely in our crib... I am happy with it so far (although there is no baby in it!).  We went with foam since it is lighter weight and easier to change sheets.

Agree with PPs -- the higher the coil count, the better. Baby mattresses need to be very firm.

We have a Sealy something-or-other for DS....and it's *heavy*. It's such a pain to change the sheets. So for DS2, we bought a Colgate Classica I -- it's foam, and SO much lighter than a coil mattress. It's one of the most popular mattresses on the market, and also gets great reviews in Baby Bargains.

I bought the Sealy Perfect Dream which has over 150 coils and was recomended by Baby Bargains.

You definitely need over 150 coils for an infant. For a toddler it can be less.

This is the one we got.  It was recommended in Baby Bargains, and the price is great!

when looking at mattresses online I can't seem to find how many coils it has.
