Nursing Tops

Can you recommend somewhere to get some attractive and affordable nursing tops?  I've looked at Destination Maternity / Motherhood and they only have a few.  Walmart and Target only have camisoles and sleepwear.  The reviews of what's at Old Navy.com aren't exactly the greatest.  I'm due next Saturday and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to wear when I have to go out of the house.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Nursing Tops

  • I never use nursing tops other than nursing tanks. I just put a regular shirt (maternity shirt soon after she was born) over the tank.  When I feed the baby I just pull up the shirt and undo the clip on the tank and feed her. I don't know any friends who use nursing tops either. I think if you get some good tanks you should be totally fine. I recommend Target nursing tanks and THIS one from Medela.

  • I just used a nursing bra, normal shirt, and a Hooter Hider (or some similar brand item).

I do this too. I just prefer undershirts so I wear the tanks most of the time :)

  • DItto pp.  Nursing tanks with a loose top worked best for me.  I had 2 nursing tops, but I did not really like them.  One was too low cut in the front, and the other had weird 'access holes'.

I like this girl's blog for ideas:
