Cetrotide makes me itch!

I really, really dislike the Cetrotide shots.  I just took another one and every one has left a silver dollar sized red patch that itches intensely for the first hour or so.  I told the IVF nurse and she just said "scratch it"

I think that they are going to tell me to trigger tonight.  Yay.  I go into the office in about 45 min for more b/w and u/s.  If I trigger tonight then my ER will be Monday morning.  I don't think they are going to get anywhere near the number of eggs they got when we conceived our DD.  Hopefully I am either wrong or it doesn't matter.

I had pain, itching, swelling and redness with ganirelix. My body did not like that stuff! I told the nurse about it and she said it was just a "skin reaction" and suggested I try injecting in my thigh. I did find that icing before and after the shot seemed to help. Good luck to you!

So I am all done with my Cetrotide!  Yay.  I will have two boxes of that that I will be able to donate and it looks like I'll end up having 3 boxes of Gonal-f that I won't use also.

I trigger tonight and they will do the ER at 7:40 Monday morning
