I know there was another double stroller post a while ago, but I have been looking and am wondering if anyone has or has used the
combi twin sport or the
peg perego. Also, I was wondering if either is compatible with a Graco car seat. Both manufacturers say they are not compatible and the people at BRU and BBB insist they are if you use a strap to secure the carseat. Anyway, looking for a good double stroller that is LIGHT and not ridiculously expensive. FYI, the babies will be 14 mos apart, so it is important that I have a stroller where both can be sitting (no sit 'n' stand) and where one or both sides lay flat and can hold an infant car seats. Our older baby is light weight and I'm thinking she may still be in an infant car seat by then. Thanks for your help and suggestions!
Re: Double strollers?
Hi! We have the combi twin. I think it 's pretty good for the price! Here are my thoughts on it.
Positives:
1. Very lightweight (i think it may be the most light weight double)
2. Very easy to fold and it actually folds in half so that's a huge space saver!!
3. Both seats recline
4. For side by side stroller - it fits through all regular size doors!
Negatives:
1. Side by side strollers are a bit hard to maneuver.
2. Side by side stroller allows the kids to hit/pinch/bug each other. lol
3. After almost a year of use, the wheels are giving a bit of a hard time with turns.
4. Side by side stroller is hard to fit in small narrow stores.
Overall, I think it was a great buy for us; the fact that it is very lightweight and folds in half were huge for us! I don't know about the Graco car seat though. I had asked at first because we had one but we ended up putting the baby in a convertible car seat right off the bat so we didn't need to worry about using the car seat with the stroller. They also told us it would fit. Why don't you take your graco car seat and try it out with the strollers? Happy shopping!

Do you find the Britax awkward with the second child so low to the ground? And how is it when it's folded up? I have the Britax Vigour right now (single stroller) and I have a hard time fitting it into the trunk of my Toyota Venza (which I thought has a pretty good size trunk).
I originally got the City Select and hated it b/c it was too long and too hard to turn. And it just looked like it was missing something when it was a single. I wanted something smaller / more cmpact b/c DD does like to walk now...BUT she still sits in it a lot and does nap in it. I was worried about her hating the back, but she has no problem with it. Sometimes I'll give her the choice and she'll chose the back. You can also put a newborn / infant in the back b/c the 2nd seat reclines flat, but with the carseat adapter, the carseat and bassinet can clip in the back. Here is a FB album I made with most configurations...I didn't have the lower carseat adapter at the time. The last pic in that album was taken recently and shows the bassinet in the back.
Here is DD and DS in it while at Disney last month. She even took 2 hour long naps in the back.
