When did you tell?

I'm currently 10 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins. It is my first pregnancy. I apologize if this has been asked many times before but I couldn't find it. When did you share your exciting news? We've told our parents but that is about it. We wanted to wait until 12 weeks to tell everyone else but you can tell that I'm starting to show. I know it is bloat but today one of my 2nd grade students even asked me if I was having a baby. Do you think 11 weeks is to early to share the news with the rest of the world? Thank you for advice. I'm ready to share but dh is still very nervous that as soon as we share something will go wrong.

We told different people at different times. Immediate family: right away, VERY close family/friends: after we heard the HB's, Extended family: I think it was 13ish weeks (after we hit the 2nd tri), and the rest of the world (including FB): after my 18 week anatomy scan.

I went through IF though and was very worried something would go wrong and didn't want to un-tell people if it did. 

It's all about your level of comfort though, it's a very personal decision! I think a lot of people wait until the 2nd trimester.

We told our parents immediately then the rest of the family after we saw the heartbeats and everything looked okay. We told everyone else at 12 or 13 weeks.

We told family at 10 weeks and everyone else after our NT scan around 13 weeks.

We told our immediate families right away. I think DH told a lot of his coworkers immediately. I told most people after 13 weeks, but I didn't tell many people at work until I started showing around 16 weeks.

our parents knew at 10w, sisters/brother in laws knew at 16w, my co-workers knew at 16w, and I finally told my boss at 17.5 weeks.  I couldn't hide it anymore, LOL.

We told our parents and siblings at 8 weeks when we found out. Our friends and co-workers found out around 14 weeks. I was looking chubby by 14 weeks and by 16 there was no question that I was pregnant.

I don't think it is too early to share. we told family and friends at 12w when we found out we were having twins from the NT scan. We told coworkers around the same time.
