My husband and I are on the second month of Clomid. On Thursday I was able to get a shot that would release my eggs. But now I am cramping. Can you tell when your ovulating? And is this the cramping I am feeling my eggs dropping? I am on day 17 of my cycle.
Re: Question about cramping and Clomid
I have never been on meds (Clomid or trigger shot), but I know a lot of ladies experience ovulation pain. I rarely feel it, but from what I've heard on the board it feels like a sharp twinge or cramps. some last a couple days, some merely a few minutes. it's possible this is what you are feeling.
BUT you cannot feel an egg drop.....that'd be impossible, they are so small.
I haven't triggered yet, but from what I understand, women experience various side effects from it. The cramping you're feeling is probably just a result of all the hormones. Out of curiousity, what is your diagnosis?
Charting your temperatures is the only way to confirm ovulation. Most of us use FertilityFriend.com to chart our cycles. It's free and easy to use. You can sign up through any of our tickers. I also recommend checking out the Newbie link at the top of the board and lurking.
