I like it, and it's the only name DH has said he likes too. But to me it's just kinda blah. It seems like one of those generic middle names that has no meaning. I would pair it with a more interesting middle name, but in the end everyone will just know her by her first name.
Of about the 20 names I've given DH to consider, this is the only one he likes. At this point I don't think I'll be able to suggest many more. Paige wasn't my first pick, but was in my top 10.
Re: Is Paige a boring name?
I LOVE the name Paige. I think it's timeless, and gorgeous...and of all the women I know named Paige, they are all classy, beautiful women.
I like the name Paige. If it weren't for a student that I currently have named Paige that is the antichrist, it might even be on our list of girl's names.
It is pretty classic and elegant.
I think exact opposite of Paige! I love it and find it to be original and very tasteful. I agree with you that it could be paired with some really fun MN's like Scarlett, Nastasia, Elise....
I think it is a great name - simple, but beautiful ... and not common. A bonus in my books! Pair it with a really unique middle name and I think it will be great.
Sounds like you and your DH are in a similar boat to us. We have agreed to a name that was in my top 10, but certainly not my favorite. He really liked it though, and it was the only one we could agree on, so it will be LO's name. It is totally growing on me now though - I can't imagine a different name for this baby!
Funny you should ask! ;-)
GL!
Paige was our girls name if we had a girl the 1st time around. We ended up having a boy. So once we found out #2 was a girl, I thought Paige would be it for sure! Now, DH doesn't like the name...I don't know what happened! It's still on the top of my list, but there's no way I'm going to get DH to change his mind...
My DH loved this name and tried to convince me but I was more set on it as a middle name but we decided against it either way. I had many people say they really liked it when we were debating.
I have a co-worker named Paige and I know a spunky little 4 yr old. Funny Alivia wasn't my first, second or third pick but it was on my list too!!
