Elijah or Jackson?

We had originally chosen Elijah, but I'm started to not like it as much. I would love it as the middle name, but DH wants to use his middle name, Christopher. In actuality he wants to name him after himself, which I really do not want to do. I think his middle name is a little long but he insists. I picked Jackson and DH isn't in love with the name. So we aren't entirely sure if we should just pick one of the two, or go back to square one and try to pick something else.

If it matters, the last name is one syllable and rhymes with Bond. 

Open to other suggestions as well.

I'm also partial to Elijah so I would choose that.  Jackson is also wayyyy more popular here than Elijah.  Honestly if neither of you is loving either name I would start over.

OP, I voted for Elijah. MUCH less common overall.

well.... I like Elijah a lot more than Jackson. But you have plenty of time to go back to the drawing board if you're not loving it.

I love Eli and Jack...but neutral on Elijah and am so. freaking. sick. of Jackson.  At least you want to spell it properly though.

I chose Elijah, but I really like just plain Eli better. I am tired of hearing Jackson. I do like Jack, but that is super popular too.

Elijah only if you are going to call him Eli.  Otherwise, go with Jackson.
