would you be mad too?

its been tough for me and my husband of late, because we only have one income now. before i was working a part time job with min wage my wages would basicly pay for childcare so we decided that i would be a sahm, plus i feel its better for my son. anyways my husband just became a assistant manager ( hes only been doing it for 6 months) for a large grocery chain and hes working his way to store manager so hes sal at 45,000 a year. which is quite a bit of money, but we still have bills to pay of course and 3 adults(my brother is living off us for less than 200 bucks a month which he barely pays that) and a baby. so we have been cutting back the little things, like dish tv, smoking( my husband quit, yay) no eating out, etc.. i decided to turn texting and internet off my phone and which saves us a additional 40 a month. and my sister says " can i ask you something? if your husband makes so much why cant he pay for it? " i was pissed she doesnt work and her husband makes 11 dollars a hour they get free health care and food stamps she has no room to talk about cutting back. i just dont feel like it was any of her business

Yes I would be pissed.  I'd be pissed at myself,  that I'm allowing my brother to live there and he's being a mooch.  I would be kicking his ass out.

  • thanks its hard for me to just kick him out, cause of all the *** that is happened to him. gah i am too nice :( i think my husband might be and the verge of kicking him out soon anyways. hes 22 but acts like hes 18 its not party time anymore, i guess we will see what happens about my brother soon.

AFter you're 21 (unless you have mental/physical issues or handicaps) you should be on your own.  No one is doing you favors by buffering the reality of life.
  • hes been on his own since 16 my parents kicked him out. but i understand were your coming from, hes 22 and hasnt even started his life yet.

I understand it's your sibling.  I hope I didn't come off as harsh, but I have no sympathy for someone who watches their sibling struggle with motherhood, bills, etc.. and just sits on their ass. Not cool.
