I received two job offers today! Yipee! I'm so rusty...It's been 8 years since the last time I accepted a job offer...so the phone call with the first company was a bit awkward. After she offered the position, she didn't go into salary at all. I asked if she could give me more details and she responded "Do you mean the hours?" ummm no....I mean COLD HARD CASH. ahaha! So I asked if she could go over the benefits...which she did and still no mention of money :-( Maybe this is their tactic??? So of course I asked for the salary and she threw it back and me (what are your expectations)...and then I threw it back at her
It took all this to get a number out of her....Is this normal???
Anyway, I had a second interview with the other company and was offered the position but their recruiter has to make the formal offer. I was told to block out 15-20 minutes for this call, so I think this will be more detailed. What should I ask (other than about benefits?) Is it OK to ask about PTO? vacation? scheduling( or is this something I should wait to ask the hiring manager?)
Thank you, all!
