I heard that Udi's is going to start making a hamburger bun... maybe they'll do hot dog buns next. They're definitely GF... and I think DF, too.

I think I saw GF buns at whole foods. Not sure about the dairy content though. 

 

ETA: Hebrew national hot dogs are GF and dairy free (and eggs too) and they're usually cheaper than the applegate farms.

I use Jennie-O Turkey hot dogs. They are Top-8 free.

Kinnikinnick sells tapioca rice hot dog buns that are gluten-free and dairy-free. They're a bit dry, though, for my tastes.

The Jennie-o ones have nitrites in them. I know a lot of people don't like that. The Wellshire brand has a chicken hot dog. They are good! I buy them at Whole Foods.
