Flower Names

My grandmother's name is Lillian, my mother is Suzanne which means Lily...I'm considering a flower name for any future DD. I can't use a form of Lillian and I don't think my husband will agree to any form of Suzanne.

List your favorite flower names, along with some uncommon ones. I see Rose and Magnolia on her a lot...ideas outside the box along with your favorites.

I LOVE Marigold. Love it. It's my favorite off-beat name. I also have loved Violet for awhile now. Someone on here mentioned Calla recently and it's really grown on me.

When I was pregnant, we called DD Snapdragon and just told everyone that that was her name when they got nosy.

I really like Aster, but can see the teasing downsides. Dahlia is beautiful.

I hope you really do use one of the more out-of-the-box options. There are so many good ones, but most people usually just stick with Rose.
