I live in Middletown and we send our 2 year-old to Tutor Time in Holmdel. He has gone there since he was 3.5 months old and has done very well. I feel like it is kind of like school, since the days are structured and there are lots of crafts and educational activities. they are also very inclusive of parents and have holiday events and parent-teacher conferences. you also get a report at the end of the day that tells you how your child is doing. Lastly, there are a lot of different levels, so your child is moved along and spends time with children that are at a similar developmental point. Overall, we have been extremely satisifed with the care that he receives and he is always happy when we pick him up.
I hope that helps! Good luck with your search. It is tough to leave your little ones in daycare, but it makes you feel much better when you see them thriving.
