I am one week out and dying to get back on the horse. I had a vaginal delivery with a tiny first degree tear. How long did you ladies wait before you started exercising? I was thinking of starting with the eliptical..
I had a c-section, so I had to wait until my 6 week follow up to get cleared. I asked my DR at about 2 weeks pp because I was feeling great, but she told me to wait b/c it takes time for the internal stitches to heal.
I know how you feel, I was dying to get started again, just make sure that you take care of yourself first! Ask your dr.
I waited about two weeks and then went on short walks to slowely get back into it. I didn't do any running or weight lifting until I was between 5 and 6 weeks.
I was sore for a year after I had my son. I could walk and that was about it. Listen to your body and get the ok from your doctor before starting anything. I believe you're supposed to wait 6 weeks...but that might just be the sex.
I went for a 3-mile walk two days after my easy vaginal delivery (no tear), and went for a 5 mile run a week after. I ran through my entire pregnancy up until 40 weeks when I delivered, so it was easy on me. I completed a full marathon two months after giving birth.

Walking around 2 weeks, light running around 3-4 weeks, 30 day shred 6 weeks. I started before my post partum apt, but I just listened to my body and didn't push myself.
