DO you belong to a local moms group? I am having trouble finding a local group and their contact info. I found mass mothers of twins but their website is outdated. I live just north of boston and may try the boston mammas group. Any ecperience with boston mammas?
which groups or clubs do you belong to, can you forward the contact info? And do you find them to be a helpful resource? Any info would be appreciated, thank you
Re: ?? For MoMs in mass
I'm part of the Mothers of Multiples, West Surburban chapter. Here is the site: https://www.wscmmota.org/ I joined at the urging of a friend who had twins last September.
It is a fantastic group of women -- super supportive, always offering free/cheap lightly used stuff, and hosting playdates (not that my twins are here yet!). I haven't been to any of their meetings, but that doesn't seem to matter.
Also, check out keepingpace.org -- they're out of West Bridgewater (off route 24), and run a twins or more consignment shop. They also have a MoMs club, but I am not a member.
I'm a member of MMOTA, as well, but a different chapter. The Founding chapter is full of MoM from towns north and west of Boston. It's been the BEST resource that I've found since having our twin girls. The web site is:
