Update: still in the 2ww.  Can't decide when I want to do my own beta (at my office), or wait and POAS.  Today is 6dpIUI.

QOTD: Not too much going on, we've got an in-ground pool and usually have quite a few GTGs and cook outs.  We will probably go somewhere in Sept.  We decided if I get pregnant without IVF (we're OOP) then we'll take a cruise, if I do IVF or am not pregnant by Sept (which will be 2 years of TTC #2) then we'll probably go to panama city beach in FLA.  Nothing super exciting but it's something to look forward to.

Update: I had a D&C yesterday and I'm recovering nicely today.

QOTD: We are heading to Utah and Yellowstone for a family vacation/family reunion later this month. I'm also trying to work on a girls weekend in Chicago in July. And, I'd love to work in a camping trip. DH and I used to 'tent' camp every summer before Henry came along, and I miss it. Now that Henry is old enough to enjoy it, I'd like to go again, but I'm thinking the whole tent program might not work as well. I'm hoping to either rent or borrow a camper. We'll see...

Update - AF arrived yesterday, so we're onto IVF.  It will be in late June/early July.  Just waiting for my nurse to call with the schedule.

QOTD - We're leaving for vacation a week from Saturday and I'm so excited.  DH has been working CRAZY hours, so it will be nice to be away and to actually get to see DH!  We're going to Bethany Beach (DE) with my parents and my brother and his family.  Jacob LOVES his cousins, so it will be so much fun!

I am starting femara + IUI this cycle. We will try this for 4 cycles.  Any fun summer plans?  Vacation?  Where to? Unfortunately no summer plans besides day trips here and there. Trying to save $$ if IVF is needed in the fall.

Update: I am in the 2ww and analyzing symptoms that don't exist If AF arrives w/in the next few days, ET and ER would likely fall during our vacation at the end of July which would be nice since I am getting a new boss in a few weeks and want to minimize my time out of the office.

QOTD: We plan to go to our home in Maine for 2 weeks to relax on the beach. DH will be there for a week and my parents and sister will be there the whole time so it will be nice to have some help and really relax. Hoping to also head to Acadia and Montreal at some point depending on monitoring and all that fun stuff.

no updates, other than i think i am def finding that PCOS CM is not a good way to track O, considering i dont even know if I can O on my own or not. 

QOTD: We are going to Disney for our 5 yr wedding anniversary/daughters 2nd birthday we cant wait!

Update:  Had my first u/s today to find out if I can start clomid on Sunday (I'm doing minimal stimulation with clomid + follistim)  The bad part of today was that she checked my AFC again and said that they made a mistake when they told me it was 16 (total) last time, it's really 11.  I know anything <10 means you are fertility dead so I'm freaking out that this really is our last shot at this! 

QOTD:  We went to Napa Valley and San Fransisco in late May for our 6th anniversary trip.  It was amazing.  We are going on our family vacation to Destin, FL in August.

Update: CD16 here, I think I ovulated yesterday/this morning. A couple of more temps should tell me for sure.  Can't say whether the timing was okay.  I'll try and convince my husband to give it another go tonight just for extra good measure. I think though I am calling the RE whether I confirm O or not. I just want to have the appointment in the books in case this cycle is a bust. I'd rather have to call and cancel then wait until the last minute and another cycle starts and we have to wait. I am making the call on Monday.

 

QOTD: Currently our only plan is to go to Hershey, PA with the kiddo and to visit with my sick grandmother some time at the end July/early Aug when my sis is also in. Our house was recently broken into and we were thinking of canceling the trip all together but I really think it would be good for us to get away.  I am nervous about leaving the house now though.  But we already decided that before we leave we are going to look into security measures and ask our neighbors to keep their eye on the place.
